Visual Identity Concepts (Billboard, Magazine Ad, Carrier Bag, Merchandising Items)


One of Cirque du Soleil’s purpose built theatres was built in Tokyo as a collaboration between a local leisure company, Disney and Cirque du Soleil. As part of my research, I had the great privilege of seeing 5 amazing shows in 7 days! This inspired me to come up with a number of concepts for a visual identity, specifically targeted for a Japanese audience.

The themes running through each idea were Light & Shadow (Life & Death),  Performers, Four Elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire),  Mysterious Language and a Magical, Enigmatic World.
